The following frequently asked questions are common among those contemplating University of Malaya (UM). This page provides answers to these questions and provides links to useful UM websites that provide additional answers.


If I wish to amend the applicant / approver / recipient information for a quotation, who should I contact?

Information of applicant / approver / recipient may be amend via the applicant's homepage on the Pertukaran Maklumat Sebutharga' icon.

I would like to make recommendations but there is only 'No Suggestion' option. Why?

Applicants need to verify supplier data first, so that the 'Recommended' option can be displayed by the system.

Are applicant and approver difference page ?

Yes. To view approver site, the link is http://eprocurement.um.edu.my/v4/pelulus/ and to view the applicant site is http://eprocurement.um.edu.my/v4/mohon/

Is the applicant still can be update the quotation items if the quotation status is already send and awaiting for approval?

No, the Applicant is required to cancel the quotation and reopen the new one.

Is it can, if I want to closed the advertisement of quotation from date set by the system?

The applicant may apply to close the quotation advertisement earlier by updating the procurement information. The application needs approval from the Procurement Division. If approved, the closing date of the advertisment will be updated by the system.

Is it can, if I want to extend the advertisement period after the closing date of the advertisement already set by the system?

The applicant may apply for the extension of the closing to update the information obtained before the closing date. The application must be approved by the Procurement Division if the ad has not been closed. The closing date of the advertisement will be updated by the system upon approval.

Is it can, if I want to extend the advertisement period or re-open the quotation after the closing date that set by the system?

Applicants may request re-opening the advertisement after the closing date by updating the procurements information. The application must be approved by the Procurement Division if there is no bid on the quotation. Ads will reopen according to the period updated after approval is granted.
