The University Library consists of a Main Library which provides library facilities for the whole campus, and is also a network of branch and special libraries that meet the specific and special needs of some faculties.

The Library's 41 years of existence has seen it build up a substantial collection of monographs, periodicals, manuscripts, audiovisual materials and compact discs. To date, the collection consists of over 1.2 million volumes of monographs, bound journals and manuscripts and journal subscriptions of over 3600 titles.

Other computer facilities are also made available to readers. A campus wide CD-ROM network facilitates access to several index and abstract databases. Computers and Internet services are available, with two computer labs at the Main Library and the same services are also provided at the branch libraries.
