Managing our natural resources and preserving the environment are the greatest challenges of the future, and an industry that will continue to grow as the earth’s diminishing resources require new ideas and fresh approaches to keep society running normally.
The Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science and Management) programme develops environmental scientists and managers who not only understand the aspects of the environmental industry but also possess skills in critical thinking, problem solving, project management and team building. The programme also combines aspects of all of the natural sciences that lead to greater awareness and understanding of the environment.
This programme offers students valuable experience with organizations including BASF-Petronas, Golden Hope Plantations Bhd, Indah Water Konsortium and Department of Environment; among others, through research projects and Industrial Training. It also provides training opportunities to carry out research in well-equipped world class research laboratories.
This programme is a major in Environmental Science and Management. Upon graduation, candidates will be conferred with Bachelor of Science degree.
