Universiti Malaya Global Education Centre China (UMGEC)

The UMGEC has been established by the management of Universiti Malaya to serve as the primary point of contact for all discussions and collaborative efforts with partner universities, industries and Ministries in the People’s Republic of China.

UMGEC's responsibilities encompass the following:

• Establishing the UM International Campus in China
• Establishing the UM International Learning Centre in China (UM within a university)
• Forming partnership to offer UM’s academic programs and foster research collaborations in China
• Providing advice to UM Management regarding potential partnership and leading initial discussions with potential partners in China
