OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY VICE-CHANCELLOR (DEVELOPMENT)

The portfolio functions are to plan, enact, manage and implement policies, policy strategies, and activities related to entrepreneurial development and commercialization through knowledge transfer and research translation together with University income generation. It consists of eight (8) responsibility centres, namely Universiti Malaya Consultancy Centre (UM Consult), UMPress, Universiti Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCed), Universiti Malaya Centre for Alumni Relations and Institutional Advancement (CARIA), Universiti Malaya Centre of Innovation & Enterprise (UMCIE), Universiti Malaya Industry Relation Office (UM ILO), Property and Business Development Office (PBD) and Universiti Malaya Leadership and Professional Development Centre (UM LEAD).
